THAT there is one true God in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
THAT God reveals Himself to man through the inspired and inerrant writings of the Holy Bible.
THAT the main message of the Bible is that God came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ, so that through His perfect life, death on the cross, and triumphant resurrection from the grave, Jesus paid the debt of the sins of the whole world.
THAT God passes on this forgiveness of sins to people today through simple faith in Christ's life and death for them.
THAT God creates and strengthens this faith through His Word (Bible) and His Sacraments (Holy Baptism and Holy Communion), administered by His Holy Church.
THAT God sends His people into the world to serve the neighbor in love, and through such service that everyone may be invited to share this joyous salvation.
